With her husband, James, she has written three books: a concise walking tour guide book called Frommer's 24 Great Walks in New York (released in March 2008) and Inside the Apple A Streetwise History of New York City, which came out in March 2009, and their new book, Footprints in New York Tracing the Lives of Four Centuries of New Yorkers.
