Yolanda Colston Avery is an American screenwriter and business entrepreneur. She is the creator and writer of TheBaking Club Chronicles: Nana’s Bammy Sweets. The script was featured under The Blacklist online script website, where it caught the attention of Mehul Shah Owner of Kinetik Films. The work won third place at the World Fest Film Festival in Houston for Best Comedy 2019. This is Yolanda’s debut project as a writer. The movie will be released in March 2020.

Career

Yolanda had a desire for owning her own business to best serve the public interest. Past employment set the stage of her entrepreneur spirit that her drive in full force, Yolanda has made outstanding achievements with each position she held with previous employers, but something was still missing. It was not until the year 2014 that her vision and desires were destined to flow in a new career direction. This was the beginning of the “BammySweets” brand.

Bammy Sweets was a fictional business in the film, Nana’s Secret Recipe. This business was the inspiration behind the upcoming movie. She has secured the rights and ownership to bring this business to fruition by having product placement within the film itself and major chain stores, with the help of Distribution and Product Branding partnerships.

Since the Launch of Bammy Sweets, LLC., Yolanda has signed with Onyx Branding Management and Onyx Channel to secure many other ventures under the newly launched production company titled YoSugga SweetsProductions and a Talent Agency called Sugga Sweets Agency that has recently signed her first three clients. TheOffices will be located in Louisiana, Florida, and Georgia and will build up its notoriety by serving the South, while building a Hollywood South Legacy.
