Michael Dutton was born in Absecon, New Jersey, but currently resides with his wife and daughters in Newport, Rhode Island.
"Christmasville" is the first novel in the trilogy of the same name. "Finding Christmasville," the second novel in the trilogy, was released in December of 2012. The final novel in the series, tentatively named "Saving Christmasville," is slated for publication in the winter of 2022.
His literary short story, "The Notion of Zero", was selected for inclusion in Hopewell Publications' anthology BEST NEW WRITING 2007. A second story, "The Solitude of the Planets" was published by Twisted Vine Literary Arts Journal (www.twistedvine.org) in their Spring, 2016 edition. Michael graduated from Stockton State College (summa cum laude - literature) and participated in the comparative literature graduate program at Penn State.
