Mandi O’Rourke is a speech-language pathologist, writer, and lifelong encourager whose faith has shaped every season of her life far more than her career ever could. After years of sensing the call to write, God opened the door in an unexpected season and provided the time, discipline, and clarity to bring her first book to life.
Her debut devotional, Are We There Yet? – 33 Days of Choosing Your Trajectory at the Intersection of Helpless and Hopeful, was born out of real stories, honest reflection, and the gentle way God meets us when life feels uncertain. Mandi writes for women walking through transitions, quiet growth, waiting, loss, and the everyday moments when hope feels both fragile and necessary.
She has worked as an SLP since 2004 in nursing homes, pediatric rehab, and public schools. She is also the wife of a retired Army veteran, a mom of two boys, and someone who learns as much from the people in her life as she hopes to offer back to them.
When she isn’t writing or in the classroom, you’ll find her reading, cheering on her sons, or listening for the small, steady ways God speaks in ordinary days.
