It's time for the hedgehog to eave home.
"You're big enough to make your own way in the world now," says his mommy.
The hedgehog is very proud to be so big.
But there are all kinds of fun and danger when you're out there on your own. Like snakes, pine cones, jackrabbit poop, mushrooms and foxes.
And there's a lot to learn as well.
So it's good to have a friend.
