No one knows where the Parasytes came from or what their purpose is - not even the Parasytes themselves. Creatures of instinct, they occupy their human "hosts" and kill others for food or in self-defense. But one Parasyte has begun to ask why, and she may have found the answer. Now, the hunt is on her the mysterious Tamara Rockford. Parasytes believe that she's scheming agoinst them, the police think she's a mass murderer, and Lefty suspects that she may be the key to peace between Parasytes and humans.
