Our friend Daniel Morgan once asked on a CompuServe forum just how difficult it was to get a Green Card and moved to America. The responses he got were all negative and written by Americans who didn't know their asses from their elbows. They said it was a long shot, they said it would never happen, out of the question, got to be transferred by a company, they said. Daniel was having none of it and this set off his thought process on how he was going to achieve this. It took Daniel about three months to make his first trip to the USA and land in Dulles International just outside DC.

For Daniel, it was one disaster after another, and he had just given up smoking the day before. But he stuck at it and never gave up. He let nothing get in his way.

On his first day, Daniel narrowly escaped a mugging and a beating up by a bunch of Asians. That very same day, he was in the back of a Dodge Caravan in a Metro Station with a very nice married lady from Centerville, Virginia.

Daniel had three different residences in the same week and finally got himself a cabin up on Blue Mountain, Virginia.
