Scientist, Matt Miller is ripped from his own century and wakes up in colonial America with nothing except his backpack. His phone, his money and his credit cards are useless and he quickly finds he is foreign and alone in his own country. Matt must meet the challenge to survive in a society where he seemingly has no relevant skills. He suspects that his twenty-first century knowledge of science and technology should make him a king in the colonial world, but he quickly finds that eighteenth-century America is a place where nothing is guaranteed.
