The poems I've bravely offered up here were both written at Ram Island Farm on the coast of Maine during the summer of '69. I was twenty-three at the time and acting in summer-stock for the Downeast Players - by stock standards an ambitious little company.
As to the notes which accompany the poems, god knows what I was thinking. They were hand written and for some reason dated, and scrawled across the top of the page was the word graffiti. I include them just for fun.
