Donna Dalton has worn many hats over the years - dispatcher for the county police department, wife, mother of two sons, and more recently, a grandmother. She enjoys gardening, crafting, and walks in the woods. But her first love is reading, especially historical romances. In 2003, Donna turned her love for books into a writing career. She began attending workshops and joined the Virginia Romance Writers, a sub-chapter of the Romance Writers of America®. Donna uses the rich history of her home state of Virginia to create action-packed, emotional romances. Donna’s favorite reads include characters overcoming life’s challenges, the importance of family, and the power of love to help us succeed. She tries to include those elements in her own works, and hopes her readers will come back for more.
