La Kayshal is an Australian writer of romance, YA, and children's fantasy novels. She lives with her husband, daughter, and a wild dingo mix-breed in the coastal plains of the Sunny State.
An adventure romance set in the exotic landscapes of India, The Lost Crown was her debut published novel. Her first children's picture book, Sylphie Is Resilient, launched the much-loved Sylph Series. Book two, Sylphie and Her Friends, focuses on conflict resolution and the importance of personal space in friendships. The third book, Procrastie Sylphie, is a Christmas-themed story about overcoming procrastination, accompanied by a fun and practical Christmas Activity Book to help readers build better habits.
A lifelong fan of wizards, magic, dragons, swords, and elementals, she poured all these elements into her debut—an upper middle grade fantasy, Ariston Baker in the Weird Picture Book—a wild, magical journey through realms and riddles.
