Born in L.A., raised in Carson City NV. I'd always lived a life obsessed by motorcycles and bicycles. As a young man I joined the Air Force and in one form or other have made my way through adulthood as an aircraft mechanic.
I live in Patterson CA, and work in San Francisco. Married with two boys, now grown and gone, the aspirations to write didn't drive the story of "Briansride." The adventure was so large that notes had to be kept, the tales too entertaining to not write it down, I had to tell the world.
I've always enjoyed telling the stories of a crazy weekend at a concert or a race track, I've always been happy with my ability to write an engaging paragraph. I've immensly enjoyed this project, combining the two.
The greatest fulfillment is that someday, long after I'm gone, a distant descendant can hold this book in their hands. They can live a snapshot of the world in 2008, and perhaps understand something of a crazy, thoughtful, and curious Uncle they never knew.
