In 2021, she worked in collaboration with her oldest son, Nicholas, on the memoir ALL I NEVER KNOWED, which addresses the children's mental health crisis in America. She has also worked for multiple non-profit organizations as a parenting "expert" (which she thinks is hilarious, as she never claimed to know what she was doing).
