Ann Kondo Corum was born in 1941 in Honolulu, where she still lives and works as an artist. She graduated from Punahou School.
Ann studied English and Art at the California State University Long Beach and Printmaking at the Honolulu Museum School of Art from 2007 to 2015. She has a Master of Science degree from the University of Southern California. Ann also worked as a school librarian in Honolulu.
Ann is primarily known as author-illustrator of books on ethnic culture and food, including Hawai‘i’s well-known SPAM cookbook. Since 2011, she has taken part of Honolulu Printmakers Annual Exhibit at the Punahou School Gallery and Matchbox Plus at the Cedar Street Galleries (Honolulu).
