Meera Masen is a Canadian dark fiction author. As a full-time university student and mother to two daughters and a Great Dane named Ollie, Meera is a busy little beaver.
Reading and writing for as long as she can remember, Meera is an avid novel and notebook collector. As a self-proclaimed nerd, she takes part in many fandoms. Meera is obsessed with true crime, board games, and exotic birds – specifically flamingos.
Known as a tumbleweed who never stays in the same place for long, she is currently settled in the Waterloo Region, in Ontario, Canada, until the next strong wind takes her away. Her dream is to move out East or somewhere tropical.

⭐⭐ - it was alright, likely won’t recommend
⭐⭐⭐ - average, nothing to write home about. Wouldn’t reread but might recommend
⭐⭐⭐⭐ - a really good read but probably wouldn’t reread it; would recommend though
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - this book was FANTASTIC and not only will I recommend it, I will likely reread it

Most books, for me, are between 3-5 stars. I rarely finish a book I am not enjoying, and if it's good, it's probably REALLY good — I do like to try and keep 5 stars to the ones that put me in a chokehold and/or that I would read again. If I DNF a book, I won’t rate it but I’ll leave a detailed review with why I DNF’d it and also include what I liked about it, if anything.
