John Bascom is the author of "Beneath a Hunter's Sky", his collection of outdoors short stories released in June 2015, and "Caine's Pestilence", a novel of political satire and biotech intrigue.
Bascom is retired from the corporate world and lives in rural northern Michigan with wife, Nickie, where he writes, teaches and consults. He holds degrees in Economics and Finance, spent thirty-five years in banking and eleven in health care governance.
In his free time, Bascom is an outdoors enthusiast, (poor) golfer, private airplane owner/pilot and rides a Harley. Other than that he is more-or-less normal.
