I’m a former officer in the Canadian Armed Forces and a former politician with a passion for history, international affairs, and thrilling stories. I hold an MA in History from the University of Waterloo and an MA in International Affairs from Carleton University, qualifications that I think shape the authenticity of my writing.

My love of storytelling began when I first read Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising, which sparked my passion for military and political thrillers. Inspired by authors like Clancy, Timothy Zahn, and the talented writers who have continued the Jack Ryan series, I craft stories that combine intricate plots, realistic action, and compelling characters, drawing from decades of real-world experience.
