Blair Lindsay EMT-P, BHSc, MA is the author of three novels : Hunting the Dead, Reaper and Armageddon Machine - an apocalyptic trilogy that follows the heroine, Solenne, through a centuries long battle with the undead.
Growing up in Montreal in a house filled with books inspired a life-long love of reading and storytelling.
When not writing, Blair is the Simulation Educator at the School of Health and Public Safety at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). He manages and runs the Centre for Advanced Patient Care Simulation, where realistic patient care challenges are created to immerse students in a safe learning environment, preparing medical professionals for critical care situations they will someday face in practice. He completed his Master of Arts at Royal Roads University with a major paper on the use of high-fidelity patient simulation to teach and evaluate critical thinking in Paramedic students, and currently teaches in SAIT's EMR, EMT, Paramedic and Respiratory Therapy programs. He has spoken internationally at various conferences regarding Patient Simulation, Human Factors Science and Communication in Crisis and is the author of several articles on issues in Prehospital Care. He has extensive experience in curriculum design and program accreditation.
Prior to his career in teaching, Blair spent twenty years working as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the City of Airdrie.
